PETE HIEATT

Pete Hieatt joins Ziegler as a partner focusing on landscape design and construction. Raised in rural New South Wales, Pete honed his expertise at Ryde TAFE, specialising in Landscape Design and Construction. His dynamic career kicked off with roles on notable television shows like "My Home" on the 9 Network and "Guerrilla Gardeners" on Channel 10, where he combined his design talents with media engagements, also serving as an Ambassador for the Asthma Foundation.

Pete’s adventurous spirit led him abroad, working extensively in the UK, Japan, Canada, and the Emirates, before settling for over a decade in Los Angeles. In the U.S., Pete became a familiar face on shows such as "Design on a Dime," "Home and Family," and "Tiny House Nation." During this period, he established his own landscape design business, creating living green walls for an impressive roster of clients including celebrities like Ringo Starr, Bruce Willis, Jimmy Kimmel, and Chris Evans.

Returning to Australia, Pete is excited to dive into the wealth of professional opportunities awaiting him at home. At Ziegler, Pete looks forward to leveraging his international experience and media insights to enrich our landscape design offerings, ensuring that every project reflects both innovative design principles and meticulous execution.
